What makes these toys different from regular dog toys?

Our toys are crafted to fit through the openings of basket-style muzzles, allowing dogs to engage safely and comfortably without removing the muzzle.

Which types of muzzles are these toys compatible with?

These toys are designed for basket muzzles with accessible holes, typically made of plastic or metal. They may not be suitable for soft fabric muzzles or restrictive designs without openings.

While our toys fit many standard basket muzzles, we recommend checking measurements and fit before use.

Can dogs play with these toys even if they don’t wear a muzzle?

Yes! While our toys are specially designed to work with basket-style muzzles, they’re also great for dogs without muzzles. Many pups enjoy the unique shapes, textures, and interactive features regardless of muzzle use. Just remember - these toys are built for gentle play, not for chewing.

How do dogs play with toys while muzzled?

Dogs can nudge, sniff, roll, paw, and grip our toys through their muzzle holes. The design encourages non-chew-based enrichment, helping support training, stimulation, and safer interaction.

What’s the best way to introduce my dog to muzzle play toys?

Start with gentle encouragement, letting your dog explore the toy at their own pace while muzzled. Use rewards or light guidance to associate the toy with positive experiences.

Do your toys come in different sizes?

Right now, all of our toys are available in one standard size. However, we’re working on offering more size options in the future - so stay tuned! If you have specific needs or suggestions, we’d love to hear from you.

Can I use these toys during behaviour or reactivity training?

Definitely. These toys are ideal for positive reinforcement, distraction, and enrichment during training sessions, especially when muzzle use is part of a behavioural program.

Can dogs chew these toys through the muzzle?

No. These toys are not chew toys and should not be used for biting or gnawing. If a dog attempts to chew through the muzzle openings, redirect play and monitor for wear. Regular inspection is key.

Are these toys safe for unsupervised use?

We recommend supervised play only, especially when a dog is wearing a muzzle. This ensures the toy remains intact, frustration is avoided, and the experience is positive and safe.

What materials are used?

We use durable, pet-safe materials selected to accommodate muzzle play - typically softer textures for snout comfort and firm enough to maintain shape through repeated interaction.
