Compatibility
Each arm of the Muzzle Mate measures approximately 2cm x 1cm. To ensure the best fit, we recommend measuring the gaps in your dog’s muzzle before purchase to ensure our toy will comfortably fit with some additional room. Dogs wearing muzzles with larger gaps may find it easier to learn how to pick up the toy on their own. Remember, every dog learns at their own pace - patience and encouragement go a long way when introducing something new. How To Measure Your Dogs Muzzle
To make sure our toy is a great fit for your dog’s muzzle, we recommend measuring the width and height of the treat hole - as demonstrated in our examples below.
Even though the muzzles in our examples have large enough treat holes and work well with our toy, they do come in different sizes. That’s why it’s important to measure your dog’s specific muzzle to ensure the best fit.
And remember - every dog is unique! Even if your muzzle has a large treat hole or other access points, it might take time, patience, and training to help your pup get the hang of playing with the toy while wearing their muzzle.

While our toy is designed to work with many basket-style muzzles, it unfortunately won’t be compatible with every muzzle type. Some muzzles have smaller treat holes, different shapes, or limited access points that may prevent the toy from fitting or functioning as intended.
